New 350Z Rear Diffuser and Center Exit Exhaust by S&R Performance!
We've been really trying to work on new products. We want to work on introducing products that aren't available, new things, new ideas. A couple of the guys got together to work on one of our team members cars. George's 350Z just got a new block, new turbo kit and some monster tuning. He was looking for more traction and wanted to try something new. Well, that's where Hendrik (Hendo Flex) came in with his metal working awesomeness!
It was time to design, manufacture and test out a new rear diffuser! We wanted something different, we wanted something lite weight, we wanted something functional and something that would really stand out. Check out the pictures of what we came up with.
The process begins!
Once the basic lay out was done, Hendrik got to work with making the difusser. As I mentioned, he wanted to keep it lite weight and simple. Aluminum was the best option and here are the pics of his work.
After fitment work was finished up, Hendo and George started working on the exhaust part of the combo. They wanted to do a straight back design with as few bends as possible. It's all about flow and they wanted to optimize every single aspect of this system.
The exhaust was done, the difusser was done, now it's time to start fitting it all together and completing the installation. The results were exactly what this dynamic duo was shooting for. Fitment was perfect with each component and each part complimented the other.
