The Subaru performance experts at Perrin are back with their band new and improved EBCS Pro. Perrin's 3-port EBCS (electronic boost control solenoid) Pro is a direct factory replacement for your 02-05 Subaru or STI which allows for vast performance improvements in two ways. First, the three-port design allows for faster solenoid response when triggered by the ECU, which translates into quicker throttle response and and spool. Second, unlike the stock solenoid, the EBCS Pro is optimized for high boost stability, holding boost higher and longer at high RPMs. In addition, the EBCS Pro improves on the competition by integrating features such as an all new stainless steel and powder coated solenoid body and nickel plated metal fittings. The Perrin EBCS Pro is also rated to an unprecedented 250°F for added durability during competition and track conditions. The Perrin EBCS Pro is plug and play with no cutting or wiring required, includes all hardware and instructions and is fully reversible. While the hardware is plug and play for the 02-05 WRX & STI, please note that ECU tuning is required for safe operation.
