This GTSPEC external wastegate uppipe allows you to convert your stock or stock location Subaru turbo from an internal wastegate to an external wastegate design. An external wastegate eliminates the turbulence that is created from your turbo's internal wastegate, as well as creates rock solid control at higher boost levels. No more fluttering or fluctuating boost at high RPMS or boost creeping from undersized internal wastegate setups. This translates to a gain of 10-40 horsepower compared to an identinal IWG setup when tuned properly.

The GTSPEC external wastegate uppipe is flanged for a 44mm v-band wastegate and includes an external dump tube. GTSPEC offers both a 2-bolt version for stock or stock compatible aftermarket headers or a 3-bolt version that is compatible with the GTSPEC headers only. The pictured external wastegate is not included with this kit.
